Another crash today and I believe I know what is causing it, however I want to talk to other staff about it before bringing it up with players. It shouldn't be a common thing and hopefully will be fixed today.

Is the shard down for any length of time? Or will it be back up soon, I get stuck on the login page...

After several modem, computer and server restarts, no one is able to get on yet. I'm thinking it's the ip forwarding software and am going to reinstall it and see if that fixes the issue and check the router port forwarding settings.

Are you using a static ip or a dynamic IP address? Your IP forwarding address software, might still have the old dynamic IP information, it might be as easy setting an option in your DHCP settings for your IP forwarding software to grab the new IP each time from your ISP. If you reboot your IP router, then it will clean the IP information and give you a new IP address.

But if you do have a dynamic IP, then you are right, re-installing the IP forwarding software should work...

Occasionally the IP forwarding software doesnt update properly when my dynamic ip changes. Looks like that happened this morning so i spent a few minutes just restarting the model, comp, etc for smoother running while no one was on. It is up again. |

Did a restart earlier to add an item, which meant fixing a couple of errors, lol, gotta love typos.
However, it seems a couple of people havent been able to get back on though the shard has been up for awhile. There are currently 10 people on and still being told someone can't get on. Sorry if your one of those trying, I've tried several things on my end and it is currently active with several players.

Doing script mods to doing a modem, comp, shard restart as well, give a few minutes and try again thanks. seems the website is down as well, web host must be down |

Yes khelben, Lady Aly has a banner going, if the shard went down for any reason, it wont be back up til sometime fri. or sat. maybe.. We do not know why, but myself and another staff was on the game tuesday evening and for some reason, the shard crashed :-( I do hope to see everyone when the shard returns to working status and I do thank you for your understanding.
