I have received an email from the server's hosting company for some maintenance they will be performing... these are their scheduled times which means I'll need to take it down prior to their listed times so not to loose data etc....
It's for nights of Fri Aug 17th and Sat Aug 18th....
I will post times I'm shutting DC down when it gets closer and I'll be starting DC back up soon as possible on those mornings after they are done and that I am awake (pacific here, host is eastern)....

'We would like to make you aware of upcoming maintenance being performed on your VPS. Our Operations Team will be performing an upgrade on the node #### that your VPS is hosted on. There will be two maintenance windows,
as follows.
- 17 August 2012 11:00 PM until 18 August 2012 6:00 AM EDT
- 18 August 2012 11:00 PM until 19 August 2012 6:00 AM EDT
During the maintenance, the process will require 1 or 2 reboots of your VPS server. While your server is being rebooted, you may be unable to access your VPS for up to 1 hour(s).
In the process of improving your VPS server performance, we are trying our best to ensure that there is minimal impact to you. Thank you for your understanding of the necessity of this upgrade. We sincerely appreciate your support through this update.'
Hopefully this maintenance will help with some of the lag we've experienced but no guarantees on that either, we'll see how it goes
