Allrighty, I have been trying to patch my client to the newest version... but! Whenever i try to launch the UOPatch (loacted in the UO folder, it just waits for a few and then starts crappin' about a lost internet connection or what so ever? Been searching on google for the right answers, couldn't find any and now i am asking here.. what can / should i do? (Yes i changed the verifcf into Mysticuo)  |

Newest version? You could always try to download the Stygian abyss client, and try to update from there if you wanna play ISO shard's, but... I dont think there's a way to update Older version of UO, because they left open the Patch server it connect's to for about 2 months after they changed it to the one that comes with the stygian abyss, and then finally closed it, so us(Us as in, Older-Gen Client's) got screwed over, i mean... You can do what i did, and just look for the UO client patched to whatever number you wanna get too, i got a 6.0.5 and a 6.0.1 client, but that's only because i downloaded them from some site, i don't remember.

That is probably the best idea, download the newer version (prob large file) from uo.com which would be supported on their end for patching... I've heard many complain of not being able to patch their older client versions... here is a link, I'd recommend the 'classic client' www.uo.com/Client-DownloadHope that works for ya  |
