If you are a woman you KNOW how much we invest into someone we love, heart and soul. And when i sit here every day trying to get stronger, trying to fill this void in my heart, trying to stop yearning to touch his hand or rube his back and feet or give him his tube feedings or even bathe him ... every day is a reminder i am alone. No matter how busy i keep, no matter how much company i have, at quiet times i can almost hear him breathing, at night i wake from sleep hearing him call out my name. This is reality. This is grief and part of grieving, and it doesn't just disappear, in a week. or a month, sometimes even years later you will find yourself missing him.
Love can be so wonderful, beautiful, it can take you to places you never dreamed existed. It NEVER dies.

I feel your pain Tink eventauly it gets easier but they are never forgotten ,, I lost a son feb 12 2012 I miss him everyday ,, It hurts me to my soul and the pain eases a little over time ,, but they are never forgotten,,, My prayers are with you
