Yes, it's been off and on all day. Trying to fix the connecting issues that most people are having of needing to try 3-5+ times to get logged in.
Think we found a fix but it's not a guarantee that it will always be smooth logging in. We'll see how this fix goes, hopefully better.
Not to mention, added a few halloween things, a few of them you'll find spawning in front of umbra bank. Enjoy.

A change I had made in the Arts Guys wasnt working right since they weren't droppoing their powerscrolls anymore.
It's been fixed and tested, they now drop their scrolls again and the mount they are riding deletes on their death, cause I'm tired of finding left over Mules wondering the lands.
Thanks to those who pointed out the problem.

Yes the shard is down right now.
I've taken it down for the night and hope to have it back up mid-morning, tues morning. I've started some maintenance and am falling asleep so can't realy finish right now or start is back up, so it's gonna have to wait til early am.
Sorry for the inconvenience but the improvements will be worth it if all works out right.

I am not able to log in as well. I dunno what is going on. And I think lady aly is out of town again. The server is hosted, so .... just keep trying folks. I am sorry I can not tell you anything.

Well, that might work, cept, there is no info for the pandora , because, it was given in instruction, if you put server name and ip and info ..blah blah, it would not work right, to skip that info process. So, at least for me, pandora logs in without any server info. Sooo, my pandora runs with "server not found", I dont know about anyone else but for me, I wouldnt call anyone about the server unless lady aly herself gave me permission to do such a thing. And I have no such permission. :-(

I am sorry, still no info on why no one can log into the shard. If I get any info I will post it for everyone. I am hoping that lady aly will log onto her messenger or check these forums at some point. Again, I am sorry everyone :-(

Purely'Ice or whatever other Admin on the server reads this first...The first step we can take is for an admin to call... ...then request a server restart. Thanks much. -Vatharro Ok and... No The shard crashed, not closing the first console properly therefore not restarting properly.. nothing at all to do with the server itself and calling them to have them restart it wouldn't have restarted the shard. We were out of town with no modern conveniences like messenger, internet etc. or plumbing for that matter, and came back to frozen pipes and busted water filter from well so had other priorities. It's up now. And maybe next time, I really think that kind of information on how to fix/deal with server/shard issues should be sent in a pm to staff instead for all to read?!? Wouldn't you think that any staff who were around that could fix it would have done so on their own? |

My greatest appologies Lady Alyssa, was just trying to help...didn't think to PM and I forgot/didnt bother to look up the names of all members of staff for pm. Post is deleted as my internet just came back up. I still cannot log in however.

well when you catch who was naughty...please make sure they feel a thump for every minute of every hour that us honest players have been without the shard we all love and the family/friend we are soo lucky to have there...

Shard must have just went down again...to my knowledge it wasnt because of a merc this time...there was only 4 people online and i was lvling an evo shield and working swords (one of the last couple skills i have 135's for)...can anyone please respond with why we went down?

Not sure what happened again but I was afk for a few but journal didnt show anything unusual and before I went afk, I did not see any mercs left alone. So no clue :-( If I do find out anything, I will post it hun.
